Dunkin' Donuts Tuguegarao is owned and Operated by MAJESTIC DONUTS CORPORATION.

Dunkin’ began in Quincy, Massachusetts, USA. William Rosenberg had originally opened a restaurant called Open Kettle in 1948, selling coffee and donuts. In 1950, he renamed it Dunkin’ Donuts. The name reflected the idea of dunking donuts into coffee.
The first Dunkin’ franchise opened in 1955, beginning the company's expansion through franchising. During the 1960s, Dunkin’ developed its franchising and training systems. Dunkin’ Donuts University was established in 1966 to train franchise operators and personnel. The brand also began expanding internationally; its first overseas restaurant opened in Japan in 1970.
1980s – Dunkin’ arrives in the Philippines. Golden Donuts, Inc. (GDI) was incorporated in the Philippines on May 28, 1980 and became the Philippine franchisee/licensee of Dunkin’ Donuts. Its first Philippine store opened on April 12, 1981, at the Quad Car Park in Makati, now known as Park Square.
The Philippine operation expanded rapidly beyond Metro Manila. By 1986, Dunkin’ had reached Cebu, and expansion subsequently continued throughout Luzon and the Visayas.
By the 2000s, Dunkin’ was no longer simply an international donut brand. In Philippine communities, it had become associated with breakfast, coffee, merienda, pasalubong, family gatherings, school activities and office meetings.
